Abstract
This essay is an initial revision of the work made on indigenous testaments and their documentary value as historical sources.Through these documents, we will try to identify the migration phenomenon and the acculturation degree of the indigenous people by the adoption of language, clothing, and their involvement of Hispanic social activities as mass, union, etc. Also, we will show the testamentaries social network; identifying wives, descendants, creditors, debtors as well as their witnesses, executor, etc. The historical work becomes interesting in cases like this one when we can answer questions about daily life, economics and social position of testamentaries.
