The Post Office of the General Archive of the Indies.
A treasure for the study of the phenomenon "El Niño" and for the reconstruction of the Inca roads
Abstract
The General Archive of the Indies contains documentation related to the conquest, government and administration of the American territories until their independence. The round-trip relations that the Spanish crown maintained with these territories along with the Filipinos were reflected in thousands of documents that are preserved, with greater or lesser fortune, on both shores of the Atlantic and Pacific. For this reason, the General Archive of the Indies, together with the different General Archives of the various American nations, becomes an obligatory reference for all those researchers who wish to carry out their work on a subject related to America.
