An analysis from the gender perspective
Abstract
In 1735 died, in Lima, sor Ignacia Maria del Sacramento, white veil nun from Monasterio de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación. Her confessor, a jesuit, spoke during her funeral. The objective of the work is to analyze the speech from a genre point of view. For this reason, there will be treated topics as the erotism in language, body control and sexuality or the role of women in the colonial era related with keeping the social statements.
